I understand this must be upsetting and I apologize for the inconvenience. I have sent you an email, please follow the email instructions to get in touch with the remote support. They will analyze the issue with AVG and fix it with free of cost.
So ive been trying to figure out why im only getting around 200mb download when i pay for 1gb. I had comcast come out and they just gave me their modem and couldnt figure out why im not getting the speeds on my computers that they get on theirs. So I started doing google serches on the subject. I read other people having problems with their speeds, but there are no solutions anywhere that I have seen. Everywhere they do the things that the AVG rep ask them to do, then when none of it works they say they will just email them to continue, and nobody EVER post a solution. This is complete bs, because avg is in fact causing alot of users slowdowns of their speed and they seem to be doing nothing about this. I have done everything that the online techs asked the other thread starters to do in their post and im stuck with no solution. I have narrowed the problem down to a combination of web shield and fake website shield being the culprits. When both of those are enabled, I get about 200 down, when they are disabled, I get 850-900 down.
