same thing happened to me, used AGV for years - never had a problem; but for some mysterious reason my computer was slowing down so I saved all my files to an external HD and rebooted. Worked like a dream, then I re-installed AGV, and what do you know. The thing slowed down to a snails pace again. I uninstalled it, it got faster so I thought maybe I'm imagining things, and re-installed AGV. Now it takes 5 to ten minutes to boot up. So what do you think? Am I imagining things?

i have used avg over 15 years…love it…swore by it…even used it on all pcs i repaired for other ppl.Everything was fine for me until avgs last update.Last update caused my pc to slow down to a crawl and take over 15 minutes to reboot with a ssd drive lol.I tried a complete uninstall using clean.exe plus also manually deleting anything left over in registry.Once deleted my pc ran fine again…fast reboot and all.I downloaded and reinstalled latest avg and everything seemed fine after 1st initial reboot after doing 1st scan.Thought it was fixed yaaaa!! Ten minutes later mouse became lagged so went to reboot and behold 15 minutes later it rebooted! Problem had returned. My specs are
