I use AVG Free for many years and am very happy with this software.
This AVG free was working for a few years on this laptop without any problems.
trying to solve this problem I removed and installed the latest AVG free from the AVG website again.
But the issue is still the same. I sended you a picture tru mail of the Task Manager and you can see on top the AVG software Analyzer with 13.7% cpu, then AVG service with 10.5% cpu and then Antivirus free with 5% cpu and lower AVG Antivirus with 2.3% of cpu. The value fluctuates around 30% and the fan is constantly blowing at high speed.

Have you tried to remove AVG programs and check the status?
Please confirm what are all the AVG programs installed on the PC.

Hi, my dauchter uses a dell inspiron 15 with windows 10. A few days ago the fan was running constanly with causing a lot of noise. I tried e Avg repair and I have even reinstal AVG free. But after restart the laptop the problem came again. This is very annoying ! What is causing this? What can I do to resolve this problem. Thank you for help.

This isn't the usual behavior of AVG program. Let us work towards fixing the issue.
I request you to uninstall and reinstall the application and check.
