AVG Software development team needs to be fired

Hello Sean,

We do understand your concern. We are sorry to know that the AVG program did not work to your expectation. We always work on our customers satisfaction.
If you still have the detected file, I recommend you to submit it to our developer's using this link:
https://www.avg.com/en-us/false-positive-file-form . They will check and let you know if there is a real threat else they will white-list it.
For third device, I recommend you to uninstall and reinstall your AVG product to check if that helps. Refer the bellow article: http://support.avg.com/SupportArticleView?urlname=How-to-troubleshoot-issues-after-upgrade-to-the-latest-AVG-antivirus-product to run AVG Clear and remover tool which uninstall AVG with the traces. Reinstall AVG Antivirus as mentioned in Step.2.

In the past 24 hours, I have had two machines break from AVG incorrectly flagging a component of firefox (telemetry coverage) as an unwanted add-on, at which point avg removed the add-on and would not allow a restore of the component. A third machine is now showing at AVG protection is not working correctly because the "web shield" has become disabled, and after 3 repair attempts will still not enable. Does AVG and your parent company AVAST even try to run a legitimate business? Every single day this "forum", which is by far the worst support page I have EVER seen in my entire life, is filled with users experiencing issues with your product. Now, it seems AVG breaks system and software components on a monthly basis, as if your software team doesn't even test a single update they push out to end users/customers. Is this some kind of joke to your employees? We pay money for licenses for your product, and during the entire licensing period we are plagued with the ill effects of using your product, by either breaking legitimate software on our computers, flagging components of the operating system as malicious (which has happening TWICE during Windows 10 anniversary updates since it's release) and even causing some older operating systems not to even boot. I can't fathom how you are even still in business. Your profit must be purely based on the revenue you make from selling user data collected from all your AVG/AVAST browser extensions, which in reality are just data mining tools used for profit. Get real.
