I am sorry to hear that you are facing issue with the Outlook. May I know the version of AVG installed on your computer? Also, please elaborate your issue to assist further.
If you receive any error message from AVG when trying to open Outlook or moving the email to a spam folder, please share a screenshot (http://support.avg.com/SupportArticleView?urlname=How-to-create-a-screenshot)to check.
I previously had a SPAM button in the Outlook Task bar that I could click on to remove a SPAM email without opening the email and I guess it effectively removed the subject email to the Junk Email Box. Not sure what message it may have sent to AVG, however, the SPAM button is no longer visible in the Outlook task bar and I have to now click to open the email and then select to block sender. My concern is that I have to open the email to do this.
