AVG stopped my sharing of files with other home computers

Hi Bill,

We understand your concern.

You assume that AVG Firewall is blocking the access from sharing the files.

However, we have to identify the component which is causing the issue.

In order to identify the component, please follow the below steps:

Open AVG -> Menu -> Settings -> General -> troubleshooting -> Old settings -> Disable each component and check for the issue.

I am using the free version of AVG Anitvirus which has stopped me from sharing my files with other home computers. 

I found from the website AVG saying that, "We'd request to disable AVG firewall protection and verify the file sharing issue. Open AVG Internet Security, click Menu -> Settings -> Components -> Enhanced Firewall and use the On/Off slider to disable it."

But the free version does not have this "Menu -> Settings -> Components -> Enhanced Firewall". So how to disable it. I tried to remove AVG Antivirus from my PCs, but don't know how!
