AVG subscriptions & transfer to new phone

I have renewed my subscription on 22 Mar 2016, I have now logged back into my phone and I'm being told my subcription will end tomorrow. It is AVG Anti Virus FREE for android, but why have I've been charged $12.80 for a free product?
Have also upgraded my phone and I wish to transfer the subscription to my new phone, how is this done?
