AVG suddenly rejecting signing on to Financial sites

Suddenly AVG will not allow me to log on to credit cards sites or my bank's site.  It says

Your connection is not private

Attackers might be trying to steal your information from portal.discover.com (for example, passwords, messages, or credit cards). Learn more

NET::ERR_CERT_INVALID


Just started to happen.  What do I need to do to correct this?
