I will help you to resolve this issue.
Please try changing the DNS settings of your computer and check with the issue again.
I have sent you an e-mail with steps to change DNS settings. Please check your inbox/spam for e-mail from AVG.
If that doesn't help, I have also included steps to use our clear tool and reinstall AVG Internet Security.

On my AVG Internet Security dashboard the is a Big Red Banner stating that my VIRUS DEFINITIONS ARE OUT OF DATE and asking me to update.  When I do it goes into the update page and scans forever without ever completing.  The banner is still there no matter how long I let run.  I never finishes. Any clue why this is?
