AVG system faults after call to tech center goes bad?!?

Alan Binch, Thank you for the info and it will help others I am sure. I didn't have any other AV installed before all this started happening and when it did, I downloaded HitmanPro and Emsisoft and ran scans with each only after disabling all other AV programs. When I did this both HitmanPro and Emsisoft found several Malware of verious threat levels that AVG: 1.) did not stop 2.) could not find…

Balasubramanian, No I did not recieve any pop ups causing me to call. If you are refering to the "Windows" pop up warning, no I saw that on my office managers computer when she called me in to ask what to do. I called the number, acted scared to them for about 30 seconds and then told them' THIS WAS A FU**ING SCAM AND THEY BETTER NEVER COME AROUND HERE!"

Thie was after a call I made to AVG about the AVG POP UP telling me my service had expired back to basic one (1) month after I just purchased A one year subscription to PRO! AVG tech bounced me back and forth with sales four (4) times over 1.5 hours and several times asked for control of my computer. I DO NOT EVER let anyone remote control my computer, period. This happened after a tech support supervisor yelled at me for not seeing the performance PRO POP UP was different than the protection PRO I bought. There is a whole lot of diferent products using "PRO" big as life for their identifier and from the looks of other posts I'm not the only confused customer.

The problems after seven great years with AVG started after the 1.5 hour phone call, five (5) AVG employees ending with a tech supervisor calling me a dumb shit!    Sorry for the first post it was voice to text on my phone.

Kris, You should only have 1-AV prog [AVG] installed on your system. Have a look @ this article (http://avgclick.me/prepareforAVGinstall).

  1. Your computer will be restarted automatically. After the restart, AVG Remover will finish the uninstallation.
NOTE: Once the AVG Remover Tool has done with its process. Please go to the drive where you installed this tool and look for a folder named as "AVG Remover" and I request you to delete it manually. For your information AVG remover tool will only remove the protection components. I would request you to uninstall AVG Zen from the control panel once the remover tool finishes its process.

To download, install and activate AVG protection program please follow the instructions mentioned in this link: http://bit.ly/1FKGRZI. Please feel free to contact us again should you need any further assistance.

Has anyone else had issues with customer service/tech support? I have been using AVG since 2008 without any troubles whatsoever. Then one month ago I have a phone call to customer service and tech support that did not go well and  been using AVG since 2008 without any troubles whatsoever. Then one month ago I have a phone call to customer service and tech-support that did not go well and for the first time ever AVG faults, opens up the firewall, does not update automatically and I swear I have a virus running three different virus programs AVG picks up nothing the others pick up all kinds of stuff.  Does not update automatically and I swear I have a virus running three different virus programs AVG picks up nothing the others pick up all kinds of stuff. There is no way for seven years I have not one problem after one bad call the tech-support my ABGs garbage and not doing anything it supposed to do it. Please share if you have similar experience

Balasubramanian, Thank you for the responce however I guess I am not making myself clear. I took care of the pop up weeks ago. That is not the problem. The problem is my laptop has some sort of malware I can't get rid of. It is not a hyjack, pop-up ad or the like. It is mean. Example; the AVG event log on that computer has not recorded anything since 5/28/15User-added image

It will update but not easily. Takes 10-15 minutes of red everything on AVG user interface after startup and yet nothing on the event log??? It is sending stuff to other computers (which are blocking it by their own rights) on the network however there is no netwroking or sharing between computers except having a common internet connection. Please advise
