Hello, I am having the exact same issue. Can I have some assistance as well? Thanks.
Thanks for this. Have tried Clear tool and it didn't work.
Thanks for you help. I have managed to go into safe mode and it seems i have uninstalled AVG although when I went into Programs & Features again, it was still there. I uninstalled it in normal mode again and it is now gone from the Programs and Features list.
However, when I go into Program Files (x64) AVG is still listed as a file and has many files in it. I tried to delete it here but it will not allow me to.
The computer still says C Drive has no space, so I think the AVG is still taking up the 20GB of space.
How do I get rid of the files?
Regards
Caroline
Hi there
My AVG Free is taking up 20GB and I believe is causing my computer to not have enough disk space. I have tried to uninstall AVG Protection free through the normal way but it first came up with error 0xe001f96d. I then looked at your other threads here and downloaded the Remover tool, but it failed. I also read a thread that suggested I should download the Reset tool but this also failed.
I have also had two other errors - 0xe0010002 as well as avgui.exe.
I can't uninstall AVG in the hope of reinstalling it so it takes the right amount of disk space.
Please help. Thanks
Hello Catherina,
Yes, we are here to help you. May I know if you have tried to delete the file manually? Also let me know the AVG program you have installed on your computer (control panel > program and features).
Best regards,
Alok.
We are happy to hear that your issue is resolved. We appreciate your time and co-operation.
We are sorry to hear that the issue persists. Please open AVG folder and remove all the sub folders from that location and check if you are able to delete those files. If you get any error message, please send me the screenshot http://avgclick.me/getscreenshot of the same.

Hi there
Thanks but this doesn't work. Here's the screen capture of what it says.
Thank you very much. I have successfully deleted the whole folder.
Thank you for the screenshot. I have emailed you a link to get connected with our AVG remote support. Please follow the same and the remote team will uninstall AVG completely from your computer.
Hello, I am having the exact same issue. Can I have some assistance as well? Thanks.
The AVG folder in the Program file (x86) takes up 22GB. See attached Snip.
Stephen,
Please go to AVG folder in Program Files (x64), right click on it and select Properties. Let us know the 'Size on Disk' AVG folder is occupying to assist further.
Thanks for this. Have tried Clear tool and it didn't work.
Stephen,
I understand the difficulties. In this case, I would suggest you reboot your computer in Safe mode with Networking (http://support.avg.com/SupportArticleView?urlname=How-to-reboot-your-computer-into-Safe-Mode) and run the remover tools to uninstall AVG. Then restart your computer in normal and check the status.
