Does anybody know what is up with AVG in general at the present time?
I had a problem with my computer a few days ago, contacted AVG who ran through via the phone help line deleting the AVG free maintenance d/l which had expired and then tried updating my AVG d/l from a 2013 version to 2015. This failed to happen so I was passed onto the AVG remote tech help who again tried to update to the 2015 version without success as it would not load. They then told me they would come back to me with a 'higher' level of remote support to sort it out. I recieved an email with a code to connect with this higher level of remote support. But since then AVG tech support has been unavailable?
This has left me with a computer without virus protection and also still causing problems. The latest since AVG's sessions is that I cannot log into my own profile!?
Has AVG been hacked or compromised themselves and passed on a virus?
