I have the same issue. Samsung Galaxy 7 / AVG Internet Security Pro 6.7.1 / Android 7.0 / Verizon. This is the original SIM.

So I'm having another issue that their tech support seems to not know what to do with. Either that or they're dragging their feet! My phone, Moto X, will randomly set off the siren and say the phone has been stolen. This has happened 5 times in a little more than a week. Every time it's either sitting next to me or I'm actively on it. My.AVG.com states it's an untrusted SIM. It's the original SIM from when I bought the phone. Verizon can't find any issues with said SIM and I've got no issues with the function of the phone. I've told the website that the phone has been found and to trust the SIM. It states it's sent the command, but the site never updates. It also says it hasn't communicated with the device in 4 weeks. However when you go into the history, it shows a couple days ago and has current data. I know it's an issue in AVG but can't figure out how to fix it. It's been a week of emails, as AVG can't seem to use a phone, trying to get this fixed. I've had the service since I got the phone, approximately 1.5yrs, with no issues. My thought is it's a bug in the current version.
Has anyone else experienced anything like this? If so what was the fix?
Robert, Please note that AVG Android support is provided through email only.

Thank you for the replies. I'll just uninstall, then reinstall. If that doesn't correct it, I will remove from that device.
