I recently purchased AVG PC TuneUp. Today, when I turned my computer on and Windows had loaded, AVG opened my Firefox Browser and a new Browser Tab advertising a further offer of purchasing TuneUp for other devices. It is NOT acceptable for AVG to 'take control' in this fashion and I ask that it not happen again, or for instructions for me to disable AVG behaving in such a manner.
I don't completely understand your question. Is there a word missing between 'issue' and 'Browser'? Anyway, it wasn't an issue in the TuneUp Interface so far as I know - I didn't have the interface open. The issue is exactly as I originally explained: Windows loaded and where I would expect no further action until I decided what I wished to do, Firefox Browser opened automatically on a new tab advertising your products.

Are you facing the issue only on Firefox browser or on all of the browsers?
Do you have the AVG Web tuneUp add-on installed to your Firefox browser?
