AVG Tune Up crashed my HP Specter Laptop, after routine optimization

Hello Enrique,
We sincerely apologize for the difficulties you are currently experiencing.
This is not the experience we want you to have.
We will certainly investigate on this issue and help you to resolve it.
Please be informed that AVG TuneUp completes a scan, after that you can review and manage any found issues before anything is cleaned.

Whereas Automatic Maintenance runs silently in the background with no actions required from you and frees up space on your PC by removing dispensable items, such as broken shortcuts and registry items.

Kindly check if this option is enabled or not :  Menu ▸ Settings ▸ Automatic Maintenance and check >> red (OFF) slider and green (ON).

The Rescue Center allows you to undo certain changes made by AVG TuneUp. To access the Rescue Center, click the undo icon on the right side of the AVG TuneUp dashboard. You can view a list of actions and click Undo next to any actions you want to reverse.

If that doesn't help, you can try System Restore to get back all your files.
Thank you.

Does anyone know why AVG tune up, which I have used numerous times on my two laptops, just randomly crashed my HP Spectre? I stand to loose a tremendous amount of valuable information. If I am unable to retrieve this information it will cost me a considerable financial loss. Can someone please share if they have had a similar experience or know how to get my data back? I cannot see why the software would go in and delete system files when it has never done this before. I am very displeased with AVG. If AVG is unable to rectify this matter, I am going to every social media platform and letting the public know what their products can potentially due to personal and valuable data stored on your PC, Laptop, or Phone. Not to mention the inconvenience factor of taking my valuable time from work to deal with this colossal blunder on their part. Please help…???
