AVG Tune-up doesn't allow for breaks?

Last Thursday morning I signed up and started the PC tune-up and got as far as checking for duplicate files around 4 PM.  I started the PC check for duplicates and 6 hours later I got a lengthy list of almost 100 GB of duplicate files which was waiting for me to check the various categories for deletion.  Some of those categories required my attention before I could delete the entire file - eg. "Downloads" contains various .exe files I haven't had time to file away yet. So I took another couple hours to empty out that Downloads folder before I had to take a break. I left that screen, with the list, open for the night.

By morning, that list was gone along with all of the files and folders I had already deleted, but the other time-saving options the Tune-up had already completed on Thursday - eg. screensavers and wallpaper were gone and the quality of each font was reduced considerably since I checked the "performance first" option. This proved to me that the Tune-up was still 'around', but I can't find that list of duplicate files anywhere.

Over the weekend I re-ran that 6 hour search 3 more times and didn't have time to sit at my desk for those long boring periods just to watch a bar cross the screen. Each time when I got back, it had completed another PC search and left me an error message that it couldn't go any further (which I did not copy down and haven't time to run another 6 hr search).

I would really like to finish this tune-up ASAP but I'm having trouble getting back to where I left off AND re-starting the tune-up isn't working for me either. I have really good reasons for needing this tune-up as my computer is extremely slow despite having more than half of its memory and Ram space available. Tune-up has helped me speed the online performance, substantially but I really need to run the rest of the program soon to be able to use most of my MS Office programs and 'get stuff done'.  Where the heck is that list of duplicate files?

Thank you.
