Are you trying to shred files by navigating through the following path (Open AVG TuneUp > All functions (the grid icon) > PC TuneUp Legacy feature > File shredder) ?
If not, we would like to inform you that we are experiencing an issue with file shredder option of AVG AntiVirus free/AVG Internet Security. Since Thursday or Friday. AVG Tune-Up File shredder just stopped working after last update. Here's what happened…I went to knock off some video files that I no longer needed so I right click them and scroll to "Shred with AVG". I click "Shred Files" to perform the task so after the green bar fills up it says "Sorry Something Went Wrong We Were Unable to Shred Your Files". I tried to repair as well as uninstall/re-install, the net result remains the same. Now is there another professional way y'all can help me put an end to this snafu once and for all and get the AVG File shredder up and running once and for all? I hope so.
