AVG Tune Up/lost passwords

Hi Jeff,

We're sorry to know that.
However, we'd like to clarify that usually, AVG TuneUp will not deal with the passwords stored on your browser.
It deals with the cookies, caches, browsing history alone to enhance the browser's performance.
From your description, we're uncertain about the password option which you've excluded. Please share us the screenshot of it for better clarity.
Meanwhile, if you suspect that AVG TuneUp has caused the issue, you can revert the changes made by it.
To do so : Open AVG TuneUp - Rescue center (at right pane) - Click on undo beside recent changes & check.

Like other users, I ran AVG Tune-Up this morning, something I have done many times before with no issues.  This time, however, it deleted all of my saved passwords.    (I also had the passwords box unchecked.)   However, now AVG is not offering to save any passwords as I recreate them.   I have already checked settings and "offer to save passwords" and "auto sign-in" are both active.     I use Chrome but this does not seem like a Chrome issue.   I rebooted after I ran Tune-Up.  Any other thoughts?     Thanks.
Thanks Dinesh.   I think this was a bug.  I am not sure if this would work for other users, but I tried a few more things last night and one of them worked.    I toggled the radio buttons for saving passwords and offering to save passwords off then back on again.  This password list was still empty.   I then rebooted again.   When I opened the settings page, all of my passwords were back.

I think this might have been just a quirk with the TuneUp function hiding the password list somehow.    In any case, whew, and thanks for your thoughts.    Jeff

Hello Jeff.
Thanks for lettings us know and we are glad that the issue is resolved.
However, would you be kind enough to share a screenshot (https://bit.ly/2XJxASm) of the Save passwords On/Off button?
