AVG Tune Up not working

Hi Russ,
In order to analyze it please provide us with diagnostic output (gather it right after inducing issue) using this tool and please add detailed description of issue.

When I run 1-Click maintenance and Automatic maintenance my computer gets hung up at the "Clean UP Windows & Programs" step.  It gets about 3/4 thru and just does ever complete.  I have turned off that switch to get the other options to run.
 
What do I need to do to get this working?  I still have performance issues with my desktop.
