AVG Tune Up/Scanner communication issues

Did you optimize your computer using AVG TuneUp software?

Please check if you have put the printer software to sleep mode from AVG TuneUp.

To check this open AVG TuneUp, click on "Speed Up" tab and select "Background and Startup". From here check the applications that were put to sleep mode, please remove the same from sleep and check if that fix the issue.

If the issue persists, we suggest you to uninstall AVG TuneUp completely from your computer and check for the issue.

Just suffice it to say, it has been way more trouble than it was worth. I uninstalled and will not use it going forward. I now have my scanning function back. Thank you.

I was wondering if AVG Tune Up could interfere with communications between my network printer while using the scanning function. My printer gives me an error message saying it cannot communicate with my pc. It seems this issue began at approximately the same time I installed Tune Up. Please advise.
