I registered online for AVG Security, AVG Tune-up, and AVG Driver Updater.

I am a basic novice on computers. I access the Internet with an 10 year old Toshiba Laptop, 3GB RAM, OS is Windows 10.

The AVG Security seems to perform well.

The AVG Tune-up scanned my laptop for "fixes" however, kept prompting me to upgrade to a paid subscription which I already did. AVG Driver Updater would not download successfully, Each attempt I was sent to a "dead link."

All the programs appear to be performing well now. Here are steps of my online journey to resolve them. Maybe something might work for you.

I located a link on the AVG Community under the topic for the AVG Tune-up issues. I clicked the link, successfully downloaded the AVG Tune-up Program, registered for the paid program and this time AVG charged my credit card straight away for a one year subscription when my experience has been they offer a "60 day" trial period first. No worries. I input the activation code for my AVG Driver Updater, scan revealed ONE driver requires updating. Did the update. Attempted to run the AVG Tune-up subscription which performed well.

My 10 year old Toshiba Laptop is running much faster now. Thank you, AVG.

I am not technically proficient on computers, obviously, however, perhaps the AVG Driver Updater subscription, kicked my AVG Tune-up subscription in the right parts, and because AVG received some money from me straight away. Everything works smoothly. I guess I will never really know.

Thanks for reading my long post here. Hopefully, this post will be helpful, and entertaining. Hopefully, at least one of those.

Thank you AVG, good luck AVG users. Please stay safe, sane and well.
