AVG Tune won't install

Hello Mike,
We regret for the inconvenience caused.
We kindly request you to follow the instructions provided below and check if it resolves the issue :
1. Run Rest access tool from the link : http://www.avg.com/tools#tba2
2. Remove all AVG traces, which includes AVG Zen, Internet Security and PC TuneUp using the remover tool from the same link provided above.
3. Restart your PC and try to continue with the installation and check if it resolves the issue.

I have just renewed my AVG Tune-Up but the download will not install, gives error message 0xe001f94e.
I have tried removing the previous version with AVG Remover but that hasn't helped.When I re-run AVG Remover it only offers the option of removing AVG AntiVirus(Paid)  which I obviously do not want to do.
I have also uninstalled MacAfee.

What next?
