I recently tried the trial for the TuneUp and ran it last night, since it has ran, it has caused havoc on my laptop, it seems it has made changes to the registry causing major issues. I can't seem to open any files, when trying to open Google Chrome for an example, it shows the path it has tries to access with the error: 'Class not registered'. I can't open IE 11 at on my laptop now, I can only open something if I go through the C Drive and to its program file to open the application that way directly.
I tried to open the TuneUp to get to the Dashboard and restore settings but kept getting errors that the required service was not running, I checked services and could see it was running. I managed to uninstall the TuneUp app but it hasn't returned my laptop back to normal, I'm still having a lot of trouble.
My AVG Antivirus Free 2015 is now not running and Windows Defender has been disabled and I can't get them back on.
Any advice on this is appreciated, I seen someone else had an identical issue, I need to get my laptop back to normal asap.
