AVG Tuneup 2015

Hello Jon,
We apologize for the inconvenience caused.
We understand how something like this will try your patience.
May I know what are all the AVG Products installed on your system?
Are you using Trial or paid version of AVG PC tune up?
Have you tried to restore the change made by AVG PC tune up?
Thank you.

Can anubody tell me how to get hold od AVG to fix my PC after I installed AVG Tuneup 2015 yesterday.
Neither of their US or UK numbers work from Australia.
Am VERY NOT happy about the mess this has now created on my PC.
For the sake of some supposed Performance improvement that may save me seconds I now have many many hours of recovering all the stuff they have cleared.
- cannot see files in Windows Explorer
- Had to reinstal Outlook
- All IE defaults GONE
- Defaults in Excell and Word are GONE
- Defaults in Media Palyer GONE
- this is just the beginning.

Just what are these clowns playing at ?

ThankU - that has worked and normal service has been restored.

Could have easily lived without this problem.

Seriously destroyed any confidence in your products and will be reconsidering next time AVG license is up for renewal.

I have AVG Internet Security which I believe I pay for.

I used the trial free version of AVG Tuner 2015 – if I had paid money for this I would be demanding compensation.

I am trying to reinstate/resolve  all the errors I’m finding
List currently stands at :
Printer no longer working
Having to reinstall Outlook 2010 – thus losing defaults
Outlook signatures are gone
IE fav bar GONE and fav GONE – default sites GONE
Previous defaults on my Tool Bar GONE
Can no longer see files thru Windows Explorer  - Only folders
Excell defaults for docs to open GONE
Word defaults for docs to open GONE
VLC Media Player  files seem to have gone
The list continues to grow

I cannot resolve all these issues myself

I have a call into my PC Support person who says he can get back to me latter today -  THIS IS GOING TO COST ME MONEY and time.

Why are you doing this to your customers?

Jon,
We apologize for the inconvenience caused.
We understand how something like this can really try your patience.
1. Click on Start Menu>All Programs>AVG PC TuneUp>All functions>Rescue Center click ‘Undo changes’,
2. Under ‘Tasks’, you can select backup (if created and exists) from ‘Undo changes’ to revert the changes by clicking ‘Restore’ or you can choose most recent System restore point from ‘System recovery’ to bring system to probability pre-installed state of PC TuneUp.
3. If no backups are found in Undo changes category then System Recovery>select Restore point (Backups) and Restore is the way to go.
Please feel free to get back to us for further assistance.
Thank you.
