Thank you for your answer!. I want to know also if you and Comodo Firewall are working together to avoid the 'non recognized file' later in this version 2016 as this never happened to me in the version 2015 & is a little annoying when that happens with a trusted file.
When I open the AVG TuneUp executable a popup of Comodo Firewall appears saying this:
"avgsetupx.exe is a new executable and could not be recognized.
Its parent application AVG_PCTuneUp_704.exe was allowed to be
executed previusly. If AVG_PCTuneUp_704.exe and avgsetupx.exe are your
everyday applications, you can allow this request."
Then, if I press "allow" a new popup appears telling me the application need to connect to internet, and if I press allow again a new Firewall popup appears saying the next:
"avgsetupx.exe could not be recognized and it is about to modify
the protected regystry key HKLM\SYSTEM\ControlSet001\Services\Tcpip\Parameters
You must make sure avgsetupx.exe is a safe application before allowing this
request."
After that popup I press "block" and then the code error: 0x0060006 appears, then I press "exit" and after a few seconds a new Firewall popup appears telling me this:
"cmd.exe is a safe executable. However the parent application avgsetupx.exe
could not be recognized. Once the application is executed, its parent will
have the full control over its execution. If avgsetupx.exe is one of your
everyday applications, you can safely allow this request."
I never had experimented it before, this happen since I download this new version, because I delete my old TuneUp executable accidentally and could not recover it again, so I download the new version from the official website, I scan it with an Anti-malware and my Anti-virus and says the file is clean, even I scan the application on the cloud with my Anti-virus and tell me it's clean & the number of the users with the application. So I want to know if this is normal because It behaves like a virus trying to access at the registry, shellcode & the console, as I said this never happen me before so I want to be 100% safe to allow it.
