AVG Tuneup activates Adobe Acrobat randomly

Hello,
AVG Tuneup notifies Adobe Acrobat opening several times, without my actually clicking on a pdf file/link. It does not appear in Task Manager. Has something changed with Tuneup in the last day or so? I have set auto sleep/activation for Adobe Acrobat in the 'Speed Up'- Background & Startup Programs section several months ago.
Any help would be welcome.
