I installed AVG Tuneup, the 60-day trial version, on my computer last week. I allowed it to shut down programs not currently in use and to wake them up only when needed, then put them to sleep again. That seemed to work fine until today. Today I cannot open Microsoft Word, Adobe Acrobat, TurboTax 2019, or AVG Tuneup itself. When I click on any of the shortcuts for those programs, or when I try to open them from the Startup menu, or when I ask Cortana to open them for me, nothing happens – I get just a blue process wheel for a few seconds, and the program doesn't open. Don't tell me to click "Repair" on the AVG Tuneup menu, because I can't get that far – AVG Tuneup will not open either. What can I do?
