Does anyone know why TuneUP Disk Cleaner option does not recognise all of the items to be cleaned from the recycle bin?
When I scan the system, the Recycle Bin appears as already clean even if it's not. A subsequent scan a day or so later will show some of the items in the recycle bin but not all of them.
I have this problem on both of my laptops: one is Win10 and one is Win 11.
I'm sure that previous releases of AVG TuneUp identified all items in the recycle bin immediately.

If certain application components and features are not working properly in AVG TuneUp on Windows PC, I recommend you repair your installation using the AVG Setup window.
I request you repair AVG TuneUp by following the below article and check the issue again:

Note: When you repair your AVG TuneUp, some customized settings may return to their default configurations.

I am using the latest version and using the basic cleaning mode. Reinstalling it didn't help.
The recycle bin shows as already clean whereas there's about 10 GB to be emptied.
