Hello,
I am on my 3rd failing external hardrive since Christmas. This most recent one was identified by tuneup as having problems. I opted for fixing the drive from the app. It has been showing me "Fixing Drive E" at 100% for about 6 hours now. The drive is a WD My Book and this is the first time I've run into issues with a WD drive. However, it is the 3rd WD to fail in recent months. All were about 5 years old.
If anyone has any suggestions or reassurance that the disk fix will eventually complete, I would appreciate it.
