Hello Wendy,
We do understand that you need help in running the optimization of the skipped features. Please do not worry, you can do the same by following this steps. Please open the AVG PC  TuneUp click on "Settings/Support", at the left hand side, you can see an option "One Click Maintainence". Please click on the same and check all the shows there and run the maintainence scan to run all the features without being skipped.

Hi 

I'm new to AVG and the community here as I only bought my product today.  

Can anyone tell me how to enable operations that have "skipped" next to them in the AVG Tune up maintenance section?

This has got me baffled any advice would be helpful.  In settings I can't see how to switch items like disc fragmentation on.
