AVG Tuneup Puts apps to sleep without permission

Somehow AVG thinks it has an obligation to put Google Chrome to sleep, so when I open Chrome, it takes an eternity to start up and is slow at that. I tried going throught the configuration screens, but Chrome is not listed among the apps that AGV is throttling back in PC Tuneup Settings. The lists includes 17 programs sleeping and 6 programs ignored. Chrome is not listed amongst either list.  I'm ready to uninstall Tuneup if I can't get it to leave Chrome alone.
