I unsubscribed from AVG Tuneup after last year's renewal on 17 December 2019. Nevertheless I got a renewal reminder this November. I checked on "My Subscriptions" and it said "Because you've unsubscribed, this subscription will no longer automatically renew. I emailed a response to the reminder pointing this out, not realising that you cannot do that. I did print a copy of the My Subscriptions page however.
You went ahead and renewed regardless! And now when I look at My Subscriptions the earlier note has disappeared! Moreover, I cannot find a way to send my copy of it to you to prove that I did unsubscribe. This seems to me to be very poor practice. I hope and expect that you will now refund the £44.99 which you have charged me this year.
