AVG tune-up memory capacity recommendation
AVG tune-up says I have 1 GB of available internal system memory and I need 2 GB to run Win 7.
Is there anyway I can shift that usage to my external hard-drive L?
Here is exactly what my computer says used capacity is now.
Local Disk C: 178 GB free of 232 GB
Local Disk J: 7.81 GB free of 149 GB
System Reserved F: 59.4 MB free of 99.9 MB
FantomHD L: 3.60 TB free of 3.63 TB
I'm interested to any other suggestion to shift Disc C or F usage to external hard-drive L to speed things up. I have done hours of cleanup directed by AVG Driver Update and Tune Up eliminating dup files and moving as much as I can find of saved files to L. Yet it did not seem to make a noticable difference in boot-up speed and frequent freeze-ups of IE, ATT/Yahoo web based email and FB as connected by modem to ATT supposed high speed fiber-optic sytem. Everything is supposedly defragged with all non-essential programs disabled on start up per AVG Tune Up recommendations.
