I also have also to agree... the data shredder was my main reasion for buying a subscription!!! Without, the whole programe is useless.

After the most recent AVG Tuneup update downloaded to my PC, the Tools were missing and along with it the Shredder.  I called AVG to ask where it was and was informed it was removed on purpose.  AVG no longer supports the Tools and shredder.  Which is one of the main reasons I purchased the product.  If you want it back, you need to let them know, otherwise it will not be brought back.

I'm talking about AVG TuneUP 20.1 (Built 1906)... this is the program version of 2020 and this one should be discontinued a few years ago?

Your are obviously talking about AVG PC TuneUP, aren't you?

Development of old AVG TuneUp has been discontinued a few years ago because of software updates, operating systems and other applications , as all the software environment evolves.
That is why the new version of AVG TuneUp that you can see now has been developed. The product is more stable and fully compatible with the latest operating system and programs.
Of course, we are still working on the product and new features are being added to it, also based on customer inquiries and comments. Therefore we would appreciate your feedback.

I totally agree… I don't think I will keep my subscribtion if the shredder is gone for good.
Checking the internet already for other possibilities or programms.
