AVG TuneUp Unlimited

I bought license for AVG Tuneup two days ago and installed it and executed several fixes tha day. When I turned my computer on the next day (yesterday morning) something started automatically immediately after I had  signed on with the remark "Hi - … don't  turn the  computer  off". I thought this was some finalizing to be done by TuneUp but it stayed that way. after an hour or so I turned the  computer off as I was afraid this might be some attack. I turned the computer on again and this same activity was still running. I opened the Task (Ctrl+Alt+Del) and saw that a lot of AVG-programs are running and a lot of activity through Windows Exlplorer. I thought that the Tuneup-system was running  defragmentation on the Hard disk, but now the computer has been running for up to 30 hours uninterrupted so  I am wondering what is going on. Is TuneUp in some kind of a loop and how can I then stop it, or stop it anyway, without making any damages to my files, and sign on to the  computer into Windows and get to my work there? Thank you.

Hello Kristinn,
We are sorry to hear about this issue. It seems that the Disk defrag must be stuck. To fix this issue, we suggest you to press and hold the power button of your computer for 20 seconds and then release the same. After that please check if you are able to restart your computer normally.
Thank you
