Upon checking your screenshot, it seems that you have already logged into AVG Zen using your AVG My Account credentials. So please try to follow below steps to reactivate AVG Tune Up Unlimited and check if issue persists.
1. Double-click the AVG icon on your desktop to open the AVG management console.
2. Click Connected at the top-right of the screen, then click Leave this network option.
3. Then confirm it by clicking on 'Leave' button.
4. Click Connect at the top-right of the screen, then click Log into an existing account.
5. Type your email address and the password you created for your AVG MyAccount during the purchase, then click Log In.
Then check if AVG PC tune up still shows as free version. If so, please reply back with screenshot, we will check and assist you further.

I tried that and also downloaded and installed the Unlimited versions of Internet security and TuneUp from the links you sent (These seem different from the ones sent in the original invoice emeil?) Unfortuntaley, I am still not getting the "zen" console, and the TuneUp still says it is not the full version. Is this because I have had the free version before? Should I uninstall AVG completely and start again?

I have purchased AVG TuneUp Unlimited, along with AVG Security Unlimited. I then downloaded the full version of Security. But when I tried to follow the instructions to load TuneUp I could not. The screen does not say "Zen", and there is no "Connect" menu. I just see the message in the screen box "PC TuneUP expired", and asking me to pay for it again. Can you tell me what I am doing wrong?

If you have the free version of AVG, you will have the AVG Zen window installed in your PC. We request you to follow the instructions below to repair the AVG and check if that works. Here are the instructions:
1. Go to Start -> Control Panel.
Note: Click Settings first if Control Panel is not available in the Start menu.
2. Open (Programs) -> Programs and Features, or Add or Remove Programs.
3. Select AVG in the list of programs.
4. Click the Change or Change/Remove button.
5. Select Repair.
6. Follow the instructions on your screen to complete the installation.
