It looks like the AVG TuneUp is awaiting activation using the paid activation code.
I have sent an email containing instructions to activate AVG TuneUp, please check your inbox and spam box as well.
After downloading AVG Ultimate from my email reciept, PcTuneUp downloads and I install it and it works fine. However, I paid for AVG Internet security and AVG TuneUp and the former works great and the latter is blocked from carrying out its paid-for function.
It could be my fault because I think the copy of AVG TuneUp "thinks" it is a trial version which must have expired. According to my received emails after I bought Internet Security and TuneUp, they both expire in July this year.
No big deal, if I don't have clarity as to the cause of this issue I'll just "take the hit" with the AVG TuneUp and tolerate the pup infested Advanced Systemcare which I've been using for years.
