I understand this must be upsetting. May I know which AVG program are you referring to? Please provide a screenshot ( http://avgclick.me/getscreenshot ) of the issue to assist you further. Click on 'Answer' & then click on the 'Image' [mountain symbol] & follow the instructions.

Everytime I turn on my laptop AVG  is off and  I have to turn it back on. How to I get it to stop turning itself off?

Please let us know if you have any other security software installed on your computer. If it is, please remove the same and check if that fix the issue.
