I didn't notice AVG doing this with other apps but since I have AVG installed, my Discord keeps disconnecting from calls. For those who don't know, Discord is an app with which you can talk to other people (mostly while playing games), so it's really unpleasant and annoying. What's going on is that I will be connected to a certain 'call' but when I'm in the game talking with my friends, I get disconnected from the call. Then I have to tab out of my game and then it automatically connects again. I tried to add Discord to the 'do not disturb' list, but unfortunately the list where I can manually sellect those apps I want doesn't load for me (also trying to add it automatically by having discord running on full-screen resulted in only the Discord updater to be in the do not disturb list). I hope someone has the answer to my problem. Thanks in advance :).

Hello, Finn.
We'd be glad to look into this. Please disable AVG protection temporarily and check if that resolves the issue. Right click on AVG system tray icon and use the On/Off slider against 'Protection' to disable the protection. If the issue is resolved, we'd request to disable each component individually to further narrow down the issue.

Open AVG, click on Menu > Settings > Components, disable each component and let us know the results to assist you further.

I had this problem. My discord wouldnt open and when i tried to re-install it the website wouldnt work. I tried to deactivate the firewall and it still didnt work… I had to uninstall my AVG, after that my Discord worked, then re-enstalled AVG. Now it works. I recommend downloading the AVG Extention to your browser but uninstalling AVG and Re-installing seemed to work
