Greetings,
We're glad to look into this & help you.
Please check & remove, if there are any other antivirus installed on your computer.
Sometimes, presence of other security software might conflict with AVG & make few AVG components to be inactive.
Additionally, you can try repairing the AVG program once to check if it helps.
Hari,
thanks for attending to my matter!
This morning I uninstalled and reinstalled AVG security. Now it seems to be working just fine.
I consider this as solved. I will let you know if the problem appears again within a short period of time.
Thanks for the support!

I have AVG running and suddenly "Computer" turns red and for example behaviour shield is turned off. Also "Hacker attacks" has been set to red status.
I wonder what is happening? I go to AVG and turn them on again, but then 10 minutes later, they are red again.
I have installed a Synology Drive, a back-up program and added it to exceptions. Could it be this program? And how can I then manage so it does not turn off my AVG all the time?

Avinash,
I did restart my computer and then I tried repair again. I let it run for 3 hours this time, but nothing happened. Ok, I see that I need to uninstall and then install again.
I will try and get back if it does not work.

Asa, it is not usual to take that long for the repair setup to initiate. We'd request you to restart your PC once, try to run repair again.
If the issue persists, please go ahead and choose to uninstall AVG. Install it again and check if the issue persists.
