Karthikeyan,
Thank You, the AVG Clear Program worked.
Now I just need to download the latest AVG AntiVirus Software and apply my License Key.
Thank You!, Thank You!, Thank You!!
Richard Neal
I have followed the steps outlined in the link that you sent me:
Remote Desktop Services are now set to Automatic Startup Type and continue to function properly.
I downloaded the AVG Remover without Complete Success. It stated that it may take more than one time, so I have run AVG Remover and restarted as Directed 10 times and I still have AVG Antivirus or part of the Program showing up on my Machine and I am still getting the window on my Desktop informing that "This is Embarrassing, "UI Failed to load"
On the Plus Side, Windows Defender Firewall Protection states that it is Running.
The 1st Time as well as all the other instances of running AVG Remover, it says that it cannot find AVG on this Machine but I click on the button to run anyway.
AVG Antivirus continues to show up through the Control Panel List of Programs and also in CCleaner. When I try to Uninstall through either of these, I receive a Window stating:
Sorry we've run into a problem during installation. (Error Code 0xE001F946)
or
Verification if digital signature failed.
or
(Error Code 0xe001f921) do not recall what the message was for this one.
Any other suggestions?
Thanks!
Hello Richard,
I understand that after a recent update from Windows, you are unable to open AVG and get error. Please follow the steps from this link http://support.avg.com/SupportArticleView?urlname=How-to-resolve-an-issue-when-AVG-shows-the-UI-Failed-to-load-error to fix this UI failed to load error.

AVG Anti Virus is not Functioning on my HP Pavilion HPE Computer running Windows 10 Pro x64, Version 1709, OS Build 16299.192.
Soon after My Computer updated to 2018-01 Cumulative Update for Windows 10 Version 1709 for x64 based System KB4056892, on January 25 2018, AVG stopped Functioning Correctly, it is no longer protecting my Machine. I have tried Repairing AVG and also tried to Uninstall AVG, but I get that it was not Successfully Repaired or Uninstalled because of an error.
When I try to restart AVG i get a window on the Desktop informing that "This is Embarrasing, "UI Failed to load"
My Update History List Shows a second Windows 10 Update KB4056892 Installed on 1/28/2018
Is there a Patch or Work Around?
Help!!

Richard, Please note that with Win 8 onwards Windows Defender was re-classified into an AntiVirus product which will conflict with AVG so during the AVG install process it will be auto disabled.
