Over the last couple of days AVG keeps restarting my computer and I am left with a black screen. In task manager it shows AVG Ui (Re) starter which is using a high % of the disk. I have noticed others on line are having the same issue but no solution is ever offered except "contact us".
My computer has been acting strangely since this started. Programs are slow and keep hanging on me and things are going on in the background with high disk usage. AVG is a real resource hog.
4 hours ago it started the full system scan but has frozen at 1%. I can't even exit the program or go into Zen. This is not the 1st time this problem has occurred. Last time a technician fixed it but pointed out I will need to pay to have recommended things removed from my computer (eg. Adobe attachments). After doing some research I found that if I remove these from my computer, my programs will not work. So much for that. And I shouldn't have to pay if the issue is product related.
I have sent a message online, left a phone message and sent one through the AVG app. I've had no response to anything.
I renewed my subscription in August 2016, but now I seem to be having nothing but problems with this version of AVG. I have had to contact support more than once now. I no longer feel confident that my computer is safe while using this product. If it isn’t fixed in its entirety, then I will be forced to change to a different and more reliable brand.

i am also having the same issue and i'm using AVG internet Security. this happened a month or so back and i spend 2 hours on the phone sorting it out. Really bad service and bad customer contact.
