Yes, you directed me to page 8 of the user manual. Unfortunately, the little line "Customize Installation" in the bottom right of the screen display (shown on that page) that appears just below the button AGREE & INSTALL does not appear on my download version which is:
avg_gsl_stb_all_ltst_140 03/08/2015 16253 KB.
If I can't customize the installation location, I want a new file in which I can or my money back. I don't have all day to s***w around with this stuff.
This file does the same thing. I spent over two hours this morning with an AVG remote install guy who could not make this work. He finally gave up. When he clicked on the 106.exe file, the same page came up with the "Agree & Install" button that had no option below it to "Customize your Installation" as the process shows in the manual on pages 8 & 9. No one at AVG seems to think this is an obvious problem. The software still tries to install to the root drive C: Once it did, he could not get the componets to actually work. Most were "partially installed". Antivirus would not run at all and the Identity Protection feature was also disfunctional. The software may install properly from a CD, but I don't have one. My only option is to re-install AVG 2014, update it to 2015 and dump AVG Ultimate. It simply doesn't work.
Hello Thomas. Please click on the link below and check "2.1. Zen installation process" to know how to customize the installation.

I have had/run AVG 2014 all year with no problems. It was installed on a specific partition because I choose not to drop all my software onto the root C: drive. I have begun getting prompts to upgrade and decided to purchase AVG Ultimate 2015 as a separate ddownload rather than let the system upgrade itself to 2015 and charge me $79.95 for each computer. Unfotunately, the download offers no optioon to install anywhere. It just automatically installs to the root drive and in the process unloads any other version one might have installed already. So, I uninstalled the new upgrade and now I have nothing. The auto install feature that forced this situation is absolutely stupid on the part of AVG. I either want my money back or advice on a method to install this where I want it. Any advice out there?

Hi Thomas,
I can see that this order is already in refund state, is there anything else I can help you with?
Thanks
