AVG Ultimate 2017 version - antivirus scan reports

Hi,
I was able to find the reports for most scans in C:\ProgramData\Avg\Antivirus\report; however, the report for scans with the pre-configured "Full Computer Scan"  didn't show up there.  In fact, I can't find it anywhere on the disk.  This is the only pre-configured scan that we are not able to edit (there is no * to click on to enter configuration mode), so perhaps it is setup not to have a report, which was the default for the other scans, and which I changed immediately.  How can I edit this scan?  The first time I ran it, it couldn't send files to quarantine, so it locked the files and they eventually were deleted, even though they had data I was trying to save.  They were all false positives, and I had to reinstall from backups, which were luckily on a USB disk that I routinely keep unplugged to avoid having a false positive wipe out my main file and my backup file, leading to data loss.  Delete should never be a default action for unattended scanning.
Another issue that just wasn't clear, looking at it in the help files for scans and then for resident shields, when we add a file extension to be scanned, such as *.pdf, are the standard extensions still scanned, along with the pdf files, or does entering a file extension negate the standard list, so that only the extensions specified are scanned?  It just isn't clear from the wording in different parts of the help file.  Note that it would be very beneficial to keep the standard extensions and simply add the extra extension.  That would avoid the situation where the user isn't aware of all of the different extensions that are vulnerable and then is at risk of missing an infection by not having all of the key extensions listed with their added extension.  Alternatively, when we select to add an extension, have all of the standard extensions pop into the list ahead of the added extension, so the user can edit the list if they want to skip some extensions for some odd reason.  Please let us know how this actually is working now.
Thanks.
Best regards,
Mark
