They did exactley the same to me.i purchased a genuine AVG unlimited security and when putting the code on it was not accepted told it was already used.How can an unlimted code not be accepted ?? tried and tried same each time.Got on AVG chat site and afte rbeing told what was no more than a load of rubbish the chappie tried to say i ahve to apy for them to fix it.No way.I have used AVG from Amazon before and the same seller never a problem .I ahve gone back to AVG free and AVG help was useless only want to sell some person to take over my Pc and charge the earth

To register the code, visit this https://www.avg.com/activation website and enter the code. Click on confirm code and then click "Log in Here" to enter your AVG my account credentials. Once it is registered, you have to activate the subscription in the program by entering the same AVG my account credentials.

I purchased an activation code on Amazon.com's software website for 2 years of AVG Ultimate. The AVG program on my computer will not accept it.
Even after letting my current subscription expire, I'm still getting an error when trying to enter the code on my account via the program. "Something has went wrong." is the error that I get after entering the code and my name, email and zip code.
We spoke to the 800 (free) technical support and they assured us that it was a problem with our device so we need to have paid premium support fix our machines remotely. This is an interesting problem because it happens to affect all of our devices. Why can't you just take the code and enter it for us?
