Hi Dinesh,
Thank you for answering.
The link you guys posted earlier in regards to outlook and the certificate…
Troubleshooting email client warnings about invalid server certificates (https://support.avg.com/SupportArticleView?l=en&urlName=troubleshoot-invalid-avg-antivirus-email-certificate&q=certificate&supportType=home)
I have done everything that is suggested.
In the section "Import Email Shield certificate" in the Outlook section, i get to step 6 when i click "settings" as suggested, the only window i get is this:
I NEVER get the window as you have shown in step 7 in your description how to import the certificate.
There is simply nowhere i can import the certificate i got out from AVG.
So i need to know how im going to be able to import the certificate so this annoying popup goes away.

Hello Kim,
This is not the expected behavior of the AVG program, we apologize for the difficulties you are currently experiencing.
We will certainly look into it and help you.
For better understanding, please provide the below information.
May I know the recent changes made by you on your computer? i.e, manually updating drivers, removing necessary files/programs, etc.,
Do you have any other antivirus programs installed on your computer? If yes, please uninstall the other antivirus program, repair the AVG Internet Security, restart and check the status.
Regarding the issue with the outlook certificates and blue screen issue, we request you to follow the steps mentioned in the below article and check the status.
- Troubleshooting email client warnings about invalid server certificates
- Troubleshooting a PC crash or blue screen error (BSOD)
Thank you.
Hi,
I have used AVG Free version for many years, finally decided to try out the AVG Ultimate and bought a license. Well did that change some things, from having a pc that just runs never really having issues, i now have had windows crash with the blue screen 5 times within 4 hours.
Im not impressed, I have had the issue of the certificate and outlook for years never could figure how to fix that either as outlook needs a digital id setup in the trust center.
I must admit that i now deeply regret buying a avg ultimate license and if this blue screen thing keeps happening i would actually rather just remove AVG.
Appreciate your efforts, Kim.
We'd like to clarify that reinstalling AVG would not deal with the extensions on Firefox.
Regarding the Outlook issue, you need to export the email certificate from AVG (Email Shield) initially & then import it to Outlook by browsing the respective file.
