Please accept my apologies with regards to the AVG software not living up to your expectations. The "Last scan" status on AVG interface issue was fixed in the recently released 18.1 version. I would also like to inform you that it will get updated only if you run a scan by clicking on "Scan computer" on main interface and not for any other scans like Schedules scan, deep scan and file or folder scan.
Regarding the PC restart request on AVG interface, does it still persist? If yes, I have sent you an email instruction to get connected with our technical support team. Please follow those instructions to get in touch with them and you should be able to resolve your issue.
Why is there so many unanswered questions regarding the problems with Dashboard showing spurious comments. Ie Last scan : Never or weeks ago, even though there is a scan ran twice per week.:- PC Start needed, that is after 3 restarts. I have tried the "Repair" I have removed and reinstalled the product but no change. In reality, I am beginning to think that the problems with AVG is there is a lack of knowledge in the company with regards to the "Dashboard problems" as so many users seems to have similar difficulties. Getting less and less impressed with AVG as the weeks go by.
