AVG Ultimate doesn't ask for licence when installed and can't find it in AVG window

Dear AVG Home Support,
After my basic AVG coverage expired, I upgraded yesterday to AVG Ultimate. After purchasing I received a mail with instructions on how to download and install AVG Ultimate. The last step, according to the mail, would be to enter the licence number provided in the mail when I was asked for it. But I was never asked for it, and in the "My AVG" section of the AVG pop-up window, I can see "AntiVirus" (installed) and "TuneUp" (installed), but there is no mention of AVG Ultimate. To run this - which I assume gives me enhance protection, must I now deinstall AVG and reinstall AVG Ultimate?
Thank you and kind regards,
John Lambert

Hi John,

We're glad to help you with the info.
AVG Ultimate is a bundled package which includes AVG Internet Security & TuneUp for windows.
To activate : Open AVG - My AVG - My subscriptions - Enter a valid activation code.
Once you activate the program, it would automatically download & apply the updates. If not, click on the refresh icon beside virus definitions that is available in the homepage of AVG program.
After updating, it would prompt to restart your computer. By this way, you'll be able to get the full protection. Please try the above step & let us know if it helps.
