Thank you.
I cannot change the Firewall mode in the latest AVG Ultimate upgrade. I feel that my computer is safer when I actually have my choice to block the internet. Unfortunately I can't seem to access the appropiate Firewall mode to change it.
I keep getting the same answer every time which has absolutely nothing to do with my issue before me. I want to block FROM the net,not make my conbection "private" which BTW still lets the internet in. I simply want the AVG Firewall to prevent from acessing the net so I can be off-line without having to switch off my modem. Over 17 years,I have never had this much grief with AVG. Yet now I have found out they were bought out by the worse AV mob on the block in AVG. So there is another question. Why weren't AVG customers alerted to the sale of AVG. If this issue is not resolved by the end of the week,I will be demanding a full refund (as per Australian ACC Law). If I don't get my refund,17 years of word of mouth will be lost.
Hi Kevin,
We apologize for this issue and in the new version of AVG we don't have the option in firewall to block the internet. The concern will be forwarded to our developers team and the new release will be updated soon. Your patience will be much appreciated.
Thank you.
