Hi Guys i have the same problem …scanning my MAC book Pro at 50% says that is still scanning but i left it like that even for 2 days:)) and it doesnt go beyong that
   I feel that i made a wrong choice with AVG. any ideas in fixing this issues.

have installed avg ultimate for mac.
when doing anti-virus check, quits after 50% repeatedly.
should i remove the app and download again?
tried this but says "app open", eveb if i shut down.
very frustrating.
help tel line only provides help for windows!
not for mac???
really pissed.
